Strict Parents

What really grinds my gears is strict parents. There is no need for it all of the time, only when it is needed. Being a strict parents will make kids go behind their back to do things. I know that for a fact, because that is how my friends and their parents are. It is not only stressful on the parents, but also the child. I've witnessed it first hand and i'm a victim of strict and angry parents. All they do is take out their anger on the kids and it is rediculous, uncalled for, immature. Nobody should blow up on their kid because of a bad day at work, it's not fair to the kid. They just shouldn't have to go through that at all. I hate when parents are always angry and making them strict on their kids. That is why strict parents really grind my gears and their own kids gears.

Work

What really grinds my gears is work. I am 17 and I work 2 going on 3 jobs and it sucks. I hate it, I have time for nothing and I bust my rear end for what I have. And still nobody appreciates what I go through and just walk all over me like im nothing. I don't have time to do anything after school anymore, I have to cancel on my friends all of the time and im finally reaching my breaking point with everything. Anymore I can never catch a break and im always expected to do what I don't have time to do. And yet people aren't satisfied with me, they pick and pull at me as if i'm not busy. Nobody knows the stress that I undergo and how much I work, and how hard I work. I just need to stop all together to get my stuff straightened back out because I don't even have time to do that. I've been working since I was 12 years old and I have more work hours under my belt than all of my friends combined. So that is why work really grinds my gears.

Slow Drivers

What really grinds my gears is slow drivers. This is probably the biggest thing that gets on my nerves. Especially when i'm in a hurry, or have to use the bathroom. I have been late to work many times due to people who drive slow, it makes me mad and is just a chain reaction of bad. In example, a slow driver makes me mad, a slow driver makes me late for work, then my boss gets mad and I get yelled at. Now you see how that works? And there many many more different examples of the chain reaction of bad from a slow driver. Also, i am just not very patciant. I don't have all day to live on somebody else's time, I just dont. So please, lets get a move on, not just for me, but everyone else in a hurry to get home to the couch or toilet. As a team we can prevent lateness and mad people, but nobody will be able to do it alone, just hit that gas pedal a little harder. that is why slow drivers really grind not only my gears, but the gears of many, many others.

Picky People

What grinds my gears is picky people, they get on my last nerve. A picky person is someone who wants things exactly how they want it, it is rediculous, I don't understand it. And if things aren't exact, it's a problem. For example, if they order a cheeseburger with no pickle and it has pickles, they flip out. They are pickles, just pick them off. Just deal with it and be happy with what you have. It gets real old real quick, especially when it is an everyday thing. Just do everyone else a favor and take that somewhere else, seriously. It's uncalled for honestly, no need, so quit, thanks.

People who want gun control

So first off, no, just stop, where do you think we would be without guns? That is a joke for people to think we should get rid of guns. And for the president wanting to take away everyones guns, really? You? Of all people. How do you think you are protected, huh? Guns? Exactly, so if you want to takes our security, we should get to take your security, right? Or does it just not work that way? It's our second ammendment, not the lunch menu at McDonald's, you can't just say alright, it's getting old let's change it, no, so stop trying. And another thing, I love my guns, if you want them, try to take them, I just won't hand them over, so good luck. And one point that my dad told me one time is that it's not the gun that shoots people, it's people using a gun to shoot people, a gun is just a paperweight until you pick it up and pull the trigger. The same comparrison can be used for a knife, just a paperweight until you pick it up and stab somebody. I just hate that people want to get rid of guns, and even if we did, where would you put them? Pretty good question, right? So that is why people for gun control grind my gears.

Drooping/sagging

What really grinds my gears is when people "sag" their pants. Like seriously? What is so comfortable about it? My dad told me one time that sagging started in prisons as a code for wanting sexual intercourse. ?????????????? If thats the team you guys play for, I don't judge so do your own thing. And another thing, what if you had to run from someone? Sorry pal but you would be screwed. Also, where is the comfortability at in having your pants half way down your thighs? Oh, none? It just looks cool? Um no it doesn't. And the worst part is that people will sag with a belt on. Why waste money on a belt if it has no purpose what so ever? I remember the first time I had my pj pants on and they were sagging just a little bit, I got whipped for it. And if my kids try to think sagging is cool, they will get whipped too and have to wear suspenders.
I am Mark Venturini, i'm a junior at Diamond Oaks CDC, I am 17 years old and i will be 18 in December. Live with my dad, two sisters Maria and Caitlin, and brother Austin. Some of my closest friends are Johnny, Matt, Troy, Jason and Dustin. The things that i like to do the most at home are eat, sleep and have fires in my backyard. My favorite hobbies are driving my truck, shooting pool, hunting, fishing and frisbee golf. My favorite books are Because of Winn-Dixie and The Great Gatsby. If I had one wish, it would be free gas for life. One thing that i'm really good at is shooting pool. I do my best thinking when i'm listening to music. After I graduate, I want to go into the military. Unlike most of my friends, i work for everything that i have. That is just a very small chunk about me.
